It seems that the singing is gradually fading, whoever thy are, it seems that they are going in the same direction and at a slightly quicker pace. It sounds like they may be singing two different songs.
When he finishes singing Ian looks around as he walks.

Gale picks up with a song from some idol from 30 years ago, before gradually quieting, as it seems that a third voice is also singing. It is an old song, but with the acoustics in the cave, it is
unearthly.The two instructors head to the right, deeper into the cave, the oppressive and ever-present cracking of the ice the only sound apart from their footsteps.
Falu does the same as Chryssa. This seemed to easy, but Falu was not one for jinxing good luck.
Chryssa calmly walks through the icy corridor her and Falu are in, while keeping her guard up.
The corridor in question gradually tapers into a thin crack in the ice wall, through which you think you can hear singing.
Braith sighs grimly and looks for a fight.
"So, what's the plan, guys? Anybody got anything?"
"Split up again, or continue as a group?"Carran whispers back.

Carran turns to Saph.
Yeah, Saph. Look at Slate, okay?
Slate walks up to Carren, and whispers into his ear.
"There's dead up ahead. She shouldn't see that, she almost became one of them."
He turns to Saph, concerned.
"Saph. Look at me."
"No problem!" she affixes her gaze to Slate.
