Professor Mesh makes to leave but stops, "You aren't supposed to know this yet, but we'll be establishing temporary teams of two today.  So... try and make at least one friend.  Selection will be based on personal preference first.

Raven returns the smile politely, "As far as I was aware ma'am, you showed up today and have had no say in the process or any other interaction with the students." his tone is academic and ever so slightly patronizing.
