Maeve goes for the offensive, blasting him with a bolt of lightning from a lightning glyph. She forces Shadow Weave to spin itself about her to deflect as much projectiles as possible.

Falu's charge is lightly batted aside, a little too easily, as he focuses on his new opponent.  "Traitors are worse than monsters."  He sends his wind shards against her as she releases her bolt.  Maeve is lightly cut, by the nearly invisible shards and he attempts to ground his blade to work as a lightning rod, but the bolt catches him before he can let go.

"Oh! Btw, the news just broke.  The girls told the professors, and we're going to attack the Glacial rift tomorrow.  The teachers will be coming with us so it should be pretty safe."
