Ian grabs it and gently tosses Gale's phone back at her. He frowns slightly as he looks at his contact list and briefely makes a note to lock his scroll from now on. He puts it back into his pocket as he goes to reclaim his half-eaten burger.
"My cousin. She's part of the reason I got here actually."
Ian secretly praises the powers that be that he never got around to setting Juniper's contact picture.

"Really? How so?" She seems legitimately curious.

"You first, Mister." Falu stands there waiting for an attack, prepared to counter attack with her semblance.

((Is that your action?))
He grins, the wind wall blocking the door collapses into what looks like hundreds of needles of compressed air that immediately shoot at Falu.

Meanwhile, Maeve goes to check on Falu, feeling that there's something up that she's missing.

Its a long walk, if your intuition is right, you may want to run.

Chartre looks at the three, not particularly amused or intimidated-- after all, he'd come from some amount of affluence and family tradition himself.
"...have you seen a man named Cordo anywhere? Hammer and chisel, black hair, red leather jacket?"

Maeve does indeed run.

  There is a large crowd gathered in the infirmary.  Affllicted and not are being held back from entering Falu's room by a young man and three drones.

Ian smirks.
"No can do. Family secret."

"Aw.  No fun."

He grins, the wind wall blocking the door collapses into what looks like hundreds of needles of compressed air that immediately shoot at Falu.

The air fragments are faster and more numerous than her semblance can keep up with.  She manages to deflect only a few back at him before they begin to cut into her, thankfully he started with that attack, perhaps in an attempt to get Falu to surrender early.  Her aura ends up doing the best it can to just keep the shards away from her, instead of targeting her opponent.  The shards are still there, but her aura seems to have caught up in deflecting them, reflection seems a bit beyond it and it is occupied in keeping her alive and not torn to pieces by jagged air.

"No, but we've got a hunch as to where he and the others who disappeared might be."

"Joking. She on the police force working in a unit for special cases. After my boss left I moved in with her and she arranged for me to get into this school. Quite nice of her I'd say."

Falu's charge knocks him off balance, and her proximity allows some of the redirected air shards to catch him.  He is barely able to keep up with her attacks, despite clearly being an older student.

The whispering has started up again, but it is very faint.

Maeve looks around for an alternate route.

There might be a window into Falu's room, the people trying to get past the door blocker might be able to tire him out enough for you to beat him if you give them time.

"Yeah... Sometimes I wonder what happened to the boss. It must have been something bad though, left Minty behind."
Ian leans on his left arm in thought. However he quickly sits back up straight.
"Eh, but that's not that important or that interesting... So what's your weapon like? I don't remember seeing it."
Ian says quickly directing the conversation away from himself.

Braith looks at one of the girls.

"Oh, heh, um..." a silence stretches for a moment,  "It's not impressive like any one else's..."  She pulls a small ring out of her pocket and puts it on, it appears to have actual gems and not dust crystals embedded into it.

"The glacial rift to the north." she continues a bit exasperated that no one responded to her dramatic, yet open ended statement.
