Ian shrugs.
"Anytime."
((Ian's obviously a master snake charmer.))
"Aw, you got to her first." Connor shrugs from the door to your room.
Gale flinches back in surprise and as soon as you turn your head to look at Connor, she has disappeared down the hallway, you hear a door slam somewhere nearby.
Braith checks out the girl calling him.
She was asking if you had seen her teammate, Cordo.
"O-okay. I'll.... try to read it." Falu attempts to read the book.
Flipping through quickly, taking care with your new claws so as to not tear the pages, you see the various tales and pictures associated from when this was considered a children's story. Your eyes alight on two pages that perfectly embody the dichotomy described by the Headmistress. The first is an image of a Beowolf standing tall with Humanity, gazing at a herd of Goliath Grimm, weapons ready. The other shows the same Beowolf, alone in the darkness, wounded from countless huntsman weapons and even the claws of other Grimm.
Pushing towards the back, you see the text that they were describing, a twisted mass of unintelligible characters. Unlike the others who flinched upon seeing the text, it flows almost perfectly into your mind.
"These are quite possibly the last sentient words that I will ever write, and even now, I can tell that no other will be able to read this. However, if one should ever see these words, please know that what I have done was all to ensure humanity's survival. The monster responsible for this, and I suppose you, yet lives. It has bestowed a Grimm's Immortality upon itself and retained sentience.
I can only imagine the horror that it has inflicted on you, but if it has stepped into the light, it is preparing for war. It must be stopped before humanity is consumed.
