Braith rolls his eyes to all the talk.
_{"The struggle is real..."} he murmurs to himself.

Without looking up from his plate, Aurum flips off Prof. Fae, and continues eating.

A hand lands on your shoulder and a familiar voice murmurs behind Aurum "Be careful boy, you're sticking your head in a lions mouth." The professor strides to the stage.  She's young and at the same time feels timeless, the great-axe strapped to her back is something to behold.  "Students, I would like to congratulate you on your first day at this academy.  After reviewing the footage of today's work, teams have been decided and leaders have been picked..." She lists two teams before it starts to get interesting.  "The third team, consisting of Braith Weldenshier, Raven Noxson, Nickel Ponzini and Dime Ponzini is henceforth to be known as Team Burned.  It will be led by Raven Noxson." At this, the two girls cheer and hug their bodyguard, but its obvious who is still actually in charge. 

The fourth team, consisting of Lloyd Eynon, Indigo, Maeve Scatha and Emeril is henceforth to be known as Team Lime.  It will be led by Maeve Scatha.

The fifth team, consisting of Ceil Harker, Chartre Alcole, Cordo van Crispa and Carran O'Connor is henceforth to be known as Team C4.  It will be led by Cordo van Crispa.

The sixth team, consisting of Justine Rouge, Amber Haddaoui, Aurum and Slate Hren , is henceforth to be known as Team Sage.  It will be led by Justine Rouge.  The list goes on for another 4 teams, bringing the total to 10.  "Welcome to Bulwark, I'm glad to see that you all made it here."  She sits down to varying noises of cheers, disappointment, joy and confusion.

At this, professor Fae stands back up.  "Please let one of the staff know when you are ready to go to your dorms.  They will escort you there.  Until then, please, continue to eat and talk, but don't stay up too late.  You've got a busy life ahead.  There's no point in tuckering yourself out now."

"Well. I guess we're all stuck together."

She looks around before sitting down on a table and kicking her legs back and forth.

"So...what do we do now?"

Chartre applauds quite enthusiastically after the teams are named. "Haha, called it! And, huh, your name is Carran? CCCC... that's pretty cool, actually." Chartre smiles. "...maybe this school year will be interesting."

"...I can live with this. Atleast she didn't call me cute." Emeril muttered.

Cordo pumps his fists in the air as his team is announced.
"Alriiight! Team leader, AND I finally get to know Carran's name! I was afraid for a minute there that it would be something like Olaf and we'd have to go around being called team Cocc."

"Why do we have arbitrarily assigned leaders? It seems like a bad system."
Indigo frowns.

"Damned if I know."

"I say we should have a vote among our selves to sort this out."

"I vote Maeve." Emeril states as she walks past them to go get something to drink.

Indigo seems to be thinking about something else.

Maeve looks over to Lloyd, waiting.

Hearing she had been designated team leader, Justine sighs. Well, it could be worse.
"We should find out where our dorms are, and start organizing the beds and all of that."
Trying not to look at Aurum, who was probably still eating, she continued.
"Once he finishes eating, if he ever does, though. I'd rather not have food all over the beds..."

Heh... It coulda been worse, anyway.
Carran smiles softly, which causes his face to look weird, as though such an expression had no business being anywhere near his face. He then turns to Cordo.
So then, O' Great an' Glorious Leader, what's our firs' course of action?
