"Unfortunately so... atleast..." Katarina quickly walks over and tries to sense their aura while looking for a pulse, slipping one of her gauntlets off to do the latter.

"She has a pulse, barely." Katarina calls in surprise. "Her aura must be nearly extinguished but... she is alive." She says grimly, sheathing her swords and carefully lifting the Faunus up in both arms.

Lyssa almost looks angry. Tears start to well up in her eyes and suddenly, maybe without even her realizing it, she's running away down whatever corridor was closest. Maybe trying to find fresh air, maybe trying to find more Grim to kill. At this point, either would be preferable than staying there.

Carran walks up to her, before patting her back, and grins.
A bird person, obviously. Heh. 'S a bit weird.
He notices the talons.
Those may be a bit o' a problem, tho'.

"A bird person... A- a good little bird person?" her voice sounds strained almost unhinged, but certainly that's because she is still frightened.

"Alive. You're alive."
He turns to the sound of the explosion, and sees Carren.
"What the fuck are you doing? You were supposed to be keeping watch. Something just exploded and you decided to..."
He trails off
"Fuck it. I'll deal with it."
Slate moves down the the tunnel, gun facing forwards until he found a suitable place to hunker down.

Slate heads down the corridor, hearing a number of voices.  He rounds a corner to discover three other huntspeople in training standing over normal people.

"Fantastic! I've been wanting to test this!" from his pack of weapons he withdraws a syringe, the fluid inside is clearly an unknown dust blend, Braith, Slate and Katarina all have heard about how potentially dangerous those are if improperly administered.
