Ian puts away his potato.

"This school isn't exactly my... favorite place. A lot of shit has happened to me while I've been here. And with that last attack, my friend has possibly the worst case of... whatever that was..."
Chryssa sighs, throwing her weapon at the target again.

"She's a huntress. She'll pull through."
Ian distractedly pulls out a potato and starts doing... something... to it.
"After all, this is basically an academy for the biggest badasses in the world. If we couldn't move on from THIS... Then how would we protect people?"

[Projeck37]

"We're students. Not huntsmen and huntresses. First years, at that."

"And? Are you saying you aren't going to do your best and become not just someone people look up to and admire, but someone that everyone would be proud to know? Because if that's the case then I guess you're right. You don't even have what it takes to be a huntress."

[Projeck37]

"That is not what I'm saying. I'm saying that you're overselling us... And it is not that I am not capable of being a huntress, because if you weren't aware, that creature that collapsed the ceiling that threatened our entire graduation class... I killed that."
Chryssa takes off her beret, and fiddles with the pin idly.

"Doubt it. Everyone knows those kinds of things just come back bigger and angrier when you think you killed it."
Ian tosses the potato at a dummy. It lands with a stone like thump.

"It died just like the other shadows."

[kj1225]

"Eh, wasn't watching."
Ian puts in earplugs and then holds up three fingers.

Chryssa shakes her head, putting the beret back on.

After about three seconds, during each of which Ian puts a finger down, the potato explodes launching fragments of stony potato into the dummy.

Ian removes his ear plugs before turning to Chryssa.
"So, you were the one who brought in the person with the... arm... thingy right?"

"Yes. What of it?"

Ian pauses.
"I was gonna say that that was pretty fucked up but... that's probably not the best way to phrase it..."
