Ian charges into the fray after stuffing his potato in his mouth.
(51) The battle rages around you as you cuts through as many shadows as you can, your claws cutting through many, but the damage seems superflous at best.
"Come on, then. I'll be right beside you. Just yell at me if you need help."
Chryssa charges forward, propelling with a shot, going for a stab on a random shadow, making sure to stay close to Falu.
(59) You manage to cut through one shadow after another, dealing minor damage
Falu puts the Beret in her bag and draws out her Tiro Longinus and puts it into Sniper form.
Falu shoots at a random Shadow with her Tiro Longinus while using her Semblance to increase the Magnitude of the Bullet (AKA increase the damage!)
(1!) You feel brave, you know that you can do this, it is what you have been training for... but then why are your hands shaking so much? Even as you attempt to aim, you can't manage to pull the trigger, they're too human too much like the people you swore to protect. Your hesitation gets the better of you as a shadow closes the distance and suddenly collapses as, in your fear, you actually pulled the trigger. Unlike the other shadows though, this one doesn't disappear into nothingness as it dies, instead, the shadow takes an amorphous form and surrounds you. To anyone outside, it looks as though you have been encased in a bubble of darkness.
Maeve immediately draws up several glyphs of lightning, creating a wall of lightning bolts firing at the shadows, while preparing to rip any shadows that got near her allies with dark, sharp claws emerging from the back of Shadow Weave.
(88) The lightning arcs into the shadows, disarming or destroying many.
"...yeah. I was figuring we shouldn't run into the mass of the battle and perhaps instead should take them from the flanks.
(22) It seems that the shadows are prepared for this tactic and flow almost effortlessly into defense against your flank.
"Well, let's see...if I skirmish...yeah, let's go with that."
Amber still isn't sure what team she's on () but she joins the fray anyway, launching herself to begin the rapid sweeping motions and swinging turns that characterize her fighting style, slashing across swathes of enemy combatants whenever she crosses them. The damage this deals might not be the greatest, on the other hand. Her semblance isn't totally reliable, but it's been keeping her from dying to things she wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Mostly.
(32) None of them manage to touch you but you can't seem to do any damage to them.
The battle seems to be stagnant at the moment, although Maeve's lightning attack seems to have shifted the battle more in the groups' favor. However, a number of students have been consumed by what appear to be steadily swelling orbs of darkness.
