Maeve crushes the beret in a claw she formed from Shadow Weave and resumes walking.

Braith, whom was skipping class and sleeping in the dorms, wakes up and hits his head from the explosion.

Falu, while walking behind the rest of the students, turns the beret in her hand around and around, I wonder if this is... hers...?

Braith awakens to explosions, and it is quickly followed by the sounds of battle, and not anti-Grimm battle either.  A glance out the window shows students and faculty facing off against a shadowy army.  The shadows appear to be wielding facsimiles of huntsman weapons.

The remainder of the first year combat 101/5 class bursts out of the collapsed gymnasium, Professor Mesh has her Great-axe drawn and charges into the fray.  It seems that she expects everyone else to make their own choices with regards to this combat.  Headmaster Fae is also here, an expansion of space, that she is apparently creating, keeping about half of the shadows from supporting those currently fighting.

"You ready?"

Ian charges into the fray after stuffing his potato in his mouth.

Falu squeeks, Y-yes. I am..."

"Come on, then. I'll be right beside you. Just yell at me if you need help."
Chryssa charges forward, propelling with a shot, going for a stab on a random shadow, making sure to stay close to Falu.

Falu puts the Beret in her bag and draws out her Tiro Longinus and puts it into Sniper form.

Falu shoots at a random Shadow with her Tiro Longinus while using her Semblance to increase the Magnitude of the Bullet (AKA increase the damage!)

Chartre took a look at the army of shadow-creatures, and immediately booked it over to Ceil.
"Ceil! We should go help out."

Ceil nods a bit, and draws her weapon.
"You got it, Chartre~! How do you want to do this thing? You have any ideas too, Chryssa?"

Maeve immediately draws up several glyphs of lightning, creating a wall of lightning bolts firing at the shadows, while preparing to rip any shadows that got near her allies with dark, sharp claws emerging from the back of Shadow Weave.
