((I didn't want to fight 'em.))

Retaliate and fire back. Sail even faster!
((they sailed infront of you trying to stop you and you ignored them))
[2]
there are no ranged weapons on the ship and a flaming arrow has struck your sails

Halt the caravan again and sneak around the side of the road and make sure that the soldiers are with the empire before attacking.
[4]
there is a small group of soldiers off the end of the road
they all seem to be drunk, sleeping, or not wearing their arms/armor
you group of refugees is ready to attack

Could I join?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
yep

you stand outside the burning coal mine
hundreds of orcs, dwarves, and half/half orc dwarves flood out of the mines
you are covered in black coal dust and your lungs burn from the smoke you were just breathing before you left
you stand amidst the crowd of your fellow slave miners
one of your friends looks to you then into the crowd, ¨Find the strongest of us and give them what weapons you can, they shall retaliate the militia in the town. When we take the town, we will have what we need!¨
you are quickly given an axe and short sword

((So why did they instantly initiate combat?))
Ram them! Extinguish the sails.

((So why did they instantly initiate combat?))
Ram them! Extinguish the sails.
((because you hit and sank one of their ships which you were ignoring))
[6]
you begin raming the ships and they retreat back to the docks
your sails are no longer on fire and were not damaged too much

Have my group sneak up to the soldiers and silently kill them off one by one, personally try to take one prisoner though.
[4]
you are able to kill the majority of them and get one prisoner but lose a fellow refugee because he was trying to steal from one of the tents and got caught by a half buzzed soldier

Lead the front in a blind fury!
[3 + BLOOD LUST RAGE!!!!!]
you and a large horde of large, powerful slaves charge into the town and begin massacring hundreds of people

[4]

((...Why the hell did my ship ram them? Ignore doesn't mean "ITS CHARGE TIME", but sail past them, IMO.))
Continue to my target.
((you ignored them, tryed to sail away, and they tried to stop you by sailing infront of you. which clearly didnt work))

[2]

there is an elven war ship down stream that is headed your way

Finish slaughtering the soldiers and then return to the caravan with the prisoner.
[5]
they are dead and you have the prisoner captive at the caravan

Let my brother take over role of being in charge while I privately interrogate the prisoner.

"Alright, how many more of you are patrolling the roads?!"
[6]
¨We are stationed anywhere that the roads end, intersections, old cities, and everywhere. We are everywhere. There is no running. We have hundreds around these roads¨
he doesn't look very confident in his answer

Cast Wind so that we are faster than it and outrun it.
[3]
you speed up
coming along side the war ship you notice that it is not active (not a threat)

"Shut up! We both know that the empire is falling apart and what you say is impossible, but we'll see if you'll stick with that story after a taste of your own medicine."

Lazily drag him to the center of the caravan in front of everyone.

"Brothers! Remember the times you were each flogged and beaten by the empire?! It was men like this that were participating in or cheering on this painful experience! He has information we need but still has the nerve to lie to us, so as his punishment I'm offering each and every one of you the opportunity to give him ten strikes with whatever non-weapon you want until he either gives us the information or dies!"

Subtly whisper to him.

"I'll stop them if you tell me the truth, maybe even let you go if you don't beat around the bush."
[5]

he screams out, ¨The empire is failing! The only units on this road are the one you just killed and the one being sent to the town! There are few other units still running in this region¨
a stone flys and strikes him in the face, breaking his jaw
the thrower screams out, ¨Heritic!¨
the mob charges for him
he screams out in fear

Sit on the corpses of enemies, roar for me to be the new war chief.

"I HAVE SLAIN COUNTLESS SLAVES OF MY PEOPLE, THE RIVERS OF BLOOD WERE OPENED BY ME! I SHALL LEAD THE ORCS BACK TO FREEDOM!!

[3]
The warriors around you take your lead but the other slaves were unable to hear you
the slaughtering continues

...Continue on my way then?
[-]
((just going to finish this))

you sail down several more miles and dock in the wood elven trading post
the post seems to be in good condition and still operating
