Like, a dust effect that allows you to hit the enemy before they hit you, regardless of anything that would prevent that.
Or something.
Unfortunately, I don't really use initiative in combat, If someone is using a skill that prevents them from taking damage in a round, I defer to that skill. However, if you want it, it feels like it would be an effect of a blend of wind and lightning dust.
Stats: 110/110
Aura: 40
Weapon Skill: 10
Dust Affinity: 30
Semblance Skill: 30
Flaw: Sadism: Maeve can get carried away with causing pain to her opponents without regard to actual damage inflicted, causing her to gain less momentum with Dust affinity attacks. (This basically nerfs Maeve's Shniomh Scath, as it's the only Dust-based weapon that isn't necessarily limited to 3 attacks like most others due to the unique nature of her weapon).
I elected to nerf Shniomh Scath because from what I know, according to the agreement we made (treat Maeve's Dust Affinity as Weapon Skill, I'll have to find the quote somewhere later), it's the only weapon that's allowed to make infinite Dust-based attacks per battle by technicality.
Is this okay?
I remember that quote and I'm upset that I forgot in that last battle.
The sadism flaw is character appropriate. However, shadow weave is the same as a weapon, your primary means of increasing your own CM. It has no alternative effect unlike other dust attacks and it is still your weapon skill that determines active defense. So I see it as sort of like how Braith has 60 points in his semblance. If you want me to use it I will, but I'm attempting balance for awesome's sake not for balance's.
Also, I see that you can select another semblance effect now.
