Yeah but Rooster Teeth is an internet thing and they don't have to care about normal western TV conventions. They even support LGBT rights and iirc they have a few people who are confirmed queer. If anyone is going to have queer characters in their show, it'll be them.

Also, guessing advanced classes are a chance to get into a higher stat gain class, with a small boost from the test, but you have a higher fail  chance in the tougher classes. Combat training I might be able to since I can dodge most attacks while wearing down my opponent... Hey Void, too late to apply to skip Combat Training 101 with Emeril?

It negates most damage, but you can still be winded or knocked out while having aura.

I have a feeling we're going to hit some situation where 1 or more of us is going to have to rely on a lack of aura in combat.

And yeah, Aura doesn't act as an infinite shield. The way I see it, it more prevents the injury than the damage: characters are seen stunned or otherwise incapacitated all the time on the show.
