The creature that spoke in white is banished for the time being,  I don't know if you had yet run into it.   

Since then we've timeskipped 3 months into an attack by a new enemy, a new Grimm variant that naturally takes a form imitating huntsmen with faked weapons.  However, they possess a second and much more sinister power, in that they can cocoon humanoids and transform them into more Grimm.  Sanure's character experienced that last part firsthand, though she was saved 90% of the way through her transformation.
