Modifying siege and ambush frequency/requirements?
« on: September 28, 2014, 02:49:26 pm »

I miss how it was in 34.xx when I'd get yearly ambushes and multiple sieges every five years.  Now I'm lucky if I get one siege every few years and if said siege has more than 10 attackers.

What files govern siege requirements (lowering the required dwarves before sieges) and increase the frequency of ambushes?  Is this possible to edit?  The latter seems to be tied to other goblin sites and difficult to manage but siege requirements seems like its editable.

Civilization (entity) behavior is in entity_default.txt. Do take note that most, if not all of it is only applied during world generation.

Look up the entity tokens on the wiki and try screwing with the PROGRESS_TRIGGER stuff for whatever you want to be more aggressive.

Lowering your progress triggers lowers the requirements for enemy attacks. Doing so does not require a world regen.
