...huh, I totally missed my split up action. Only read the first part-had to post quick, at that time. All I saw was "CRIT FAIL" in big, flashing letters. ::)

Srry, my fault, was in a rush. I usually only see the things in Action: that I want rolled. Tho I spose if it's laid, it's played.

Did I end up undoing the effects of my last good roll with that horrible one?

No, you just didn't do any better than the first time.

Also, the mysterious stranger is Harry's character. I should find a way to make these things clearer.

Yeah, in fact, lore rolls are literally for making up facts. If you fail the fact is incorrect. If you don't it's correct.
