Führer walks in and overhears Luzia.
"Boxing won't help the team. If for some reason we're not in our mechs, it probably won't help you either. If you want to help out the team so bad then practice your piloting skills. If you're scared you'll be caught outside your mech then you should probably learn how to use a gun, like I am. Guns beats martial arts every day of the week."

Luzia just gives Führer a confused look in return. She and Lethe are lifting weights to fulfill their mandated training routine, set out by their superiors to keep them in fighting shape. Neither of them are boxing right now, and they definitely weren't talking about being caught outside of their mechs.

"Keeping in top physical condition will help, though."
Trevor stands up, and gets a towel to wipe off the sweat from his chest and forehead.
Yes, he happens to be shirtless.

Lethe's smile faltered for a moment, she nodded.
"Yeah. Just keep working hard" Lethe looked towards Fuhrer as he approached them "Who said it would? It's common sense that guns beat physical force but as Trevor says keeping in shape helps."

Kyle give Fuhrer a glare.
"I'm sure you didn't mean to but you came off as an ass with that statement. Would you like to rephrase?"

*sigh* "Never mind. I'll be in Engineering if you need me."
Führer goes to Engineering to see if they have any hand-held laser pistols.

Kara as well is training a bit. Or, she was a bit ago, but currently she's just sitting around reading a book, in the gym. As such, she's likely also listening to the conversation.
"Guns can be useful, yes, but what if you do not have one in your possession..? Oh, nevermind."

((Being in good physical shape helps the mind as well, also one of the points Fuhrer made was that it would be useless even outside of the mech. And yeah G Force and all of that stuff))

Lethe let out a small sigh as she watched the boy walk away, the smile came back onto her face though as she returned to working out beside Luzia.

((I'd always assumed that they came with g compensators (it's 2030 and g hasn't even been canonically mentioned)) and that they used more traditional control schemes for moving the mechs.))
