Lethe nodded, she forced a smile back onto her face.

Ao leaves the recreation room, presumably to brood.

Trevor eventually leaves the ACS, heading to the rec room. Perhaps running into Ao on the way there.

Ao doesn't seem to be concentrating and bumps into Trevor rather unceremoniously, tripping.

Trevor as well just walks on. Something in his mind obviously, not even seeming to notice Ao. He instantly goes to assaulting a punching bag.

Ao manages to regain his balance instead of falling on the floor unceremoniously and heads off to the gym, shrugging, also assaulting a punching bag.

Trevor is just completely unloading punch after punch. It's apparent he's untrained in hand to hand combat. His form is off, and his balance is all out of wack. He throws one last punch, and falls onto the floor. He brings up his knees and rests his forehead on them.

On Ao's side, it's clear that he's somewhat competent in hand to hand, but his stance seems to fit kendo more than boxing.

He looks over at Trevor, after unloading several restrained punches, having lost most of his steam earlier the day, and sighs.
".......you thinking about earlier too?"

"That... And flashbacks..."

"I know how that feels. You're not alone."
Ao pats him on the back and goes and crouches next to him to sit, but his mask suddenly falls off, landing on Trevor.

Kyle walks into the weight room as well and goes to do some weight training.

Trevor picks up the mask. He quickly examines Ao's face before handing it back.
"Just seeing that we barely did anything brought back memories of when the invasion first begun. All my fellow navy men..."

"Oh my god, this neither the time or place to be doing that broody nonsense. If you get like that you've already lost."
Kyle says annoyed.

In the short second between Ao realising his mask fell off and hiding his face instinctively, Trevor managed to realise several things.

One, his eyes are blue. Very deep blue, like his hair.
Two, his long hair seems to be bunched up by the mask.
Three, he- or rather, she was a woman. A very, very well hidden woman, but a woman nonetheless.

She quickly shoves his mask on when he retrieves it and sits down next to him, pretending nothing happened. For a moment, her somewhat deep voice goes- or rather, returns- to a high pitch, before he coughs and returns it to normal.
"We win some, we lose some. All we can do is wait and learn from our failure.

We lived to fight another day, did we not? So then we can restore our pride the next fight. Like Kyle said, we cannot lose hope, not now."

"What's with your voice? Going through puberty again?"
