Ao nods and heads off to the mess hall.
"Are you hungry, then?"

Kyle sits down and opens the can.
"Eh, it could be better."

"How so?" she asks with a tinge of concern, as she carefully marks her spot in the specs book and closes it. So that she can give Kyle her full attention, of course.

"Larger beds. And some color. You know?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Well it is a military base. We can't have all of the creature comforts... I know what you mean though. It is a bit colourless."

"Yeah, maybe some reds and purples. That would be nice."
Kyle takes a sip of his monster.

Ao walks into the canteen.
"Hello."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"I don't know about reds and purples. I think some more soothing colours would be better." Luzia turns around to look at Ao, and gives them a friendly wave, "Hello. Getting something too?"

Kyle waves as well.
"I think those are soothing colors."

"Do you know where they might have coffee?"

"Certain shades of purple, maybe, but... I don't think that red is a good choice." Luzia gives Ao a smile and points to the canteen. Or wherever you can get coffee in this place, I don't know the exact name.

Hustin decides he's had enough practice and returns his mech to the bay, getting out of it. He goes up to the gathered pilots. "Howdy folks! Name's Justin Fullbring, Captain, USAF. Well, technically retired USAF now that I've transferred to this outfit."

Kara also deigns now to be a good time to go and get food. So she also heads to the mess hall.
"Yes, hello. I am Kara Grace. It is a pleasure to meet you.... sir. "
