The sound of a cellphone goes off. Trevor pulls one out of his pocket, looking at the caller ID.
"Uh... Let me take this."
He stands up and walks towards the exit of the mess.
"Hello?"

"Aha, it's good to see you again, Kyle. Feel free to sit down. We were just talking about our interests, and such..."
Annnnd there's her calm and collected personality back again.

Kyle shrugs and sits down.
"I just realized I left my jacket back home."

Depending on how loud the mess room is, they might hear Isaac's phone conversation.

Justin wakes up from his bunk and stretches. "Ahh, nice to get some rest whenever I can. I'll see what the others are up to."

He wanders over to the mess hall. "Howdy folks!"

Luzia smiles at everyone and takes a sip of her tea as she listens to them talk. Unfortunately, USEC was busy with everything and couldn't post she doesn't get an opportunity to offer her own opinions and ideas. What a shame.

A woman with blond hair in an unkempt fashion wearing a flight suit walks into the canteen. She heads directly for the food before grabbing two plates and walking back out of the canteen. Most of the people would know that that was Maria, if only due to the roster that was listed in the squad barracks.

"I gotta tell you, that was some crazy shit today, nearly as wild as my time down in south Texas during the Mexican Border Crisis!"

Isaac walks back in, still on the phone.
"I told you already, that I made my decision. You can't force me to quit something that I love in order to do what you want me to do..."
As he sits down, yelling can be heard from the other end. He quickly hangs up, and sighs.

Justin was in the middle of telling the rest of the assmebled people a story from his times in the USAF: "...and then the Chief said 'I don't give a fuck! I want you in the Commander's office right now!' and he marched the poor sap buck naked all the way to the commander's office! I hear he still hasn't lived that one down."

Phineas unnervingly materialises in several places at once.
