Within their suit's cockpit, Kara cracked a bit of a smile, as they awaited the answer for that odd question, and knowing that the other pilots would not know of this bit of joking from her.

Of course it's impossible to see Luzia's face right now, but the slight pause makes it clear that she's blushing. Even if it's just a tiny bit. "I d-don't really know... It j-just sounded appropiate at the time. I'll turn of the c-comms before I do it n-next time."

"I would like to point out melee mechs are going to face this problem no matter what, so better for them to get their licks in and take care of the problem quickly than just not attack at all."

"Yes, but this one had a huge advantage over fighting in melee."

They nodded, and then looked towards the ASR from within her own suit.
"_{Eheehehheh...} Er.. So.. Perhaps we'll need you to install some other weapons on board."
And like that, they went on through the portal, giving a grin as they did. As soon as they got out of the suit, however, the smile was not to be seen.

The scientists are waiting outside the portal, quickly snatching all of the Kaiju remains and running off to their laboratories.

"Well, that's done with. You guys should check out the research projects there are available."

Eren heads to the portal, guns scanning his surroundings.

The project director of the labs, Dr Sarah Hansen, greets them. She is a short Asian woman, with black hair tied up into a bun.

"Thank you for coming; the samples you've given us could provide some breakthroughs. Here are the projects available."

She hands them a tablet, listing 4 options:

High Energy Batteries
Unstable Isotope Manipulation
Isolation Shields
Deep Crust Mining

"We'll be able to complete the first three with the data we have, but the fourth will require additional research material."
