I suggest Atlas or Vacuo. Atlas, because it looks like a technology place, judging from the Paladins and the Knight-class soldiers, or Vacuo because nothing from Vacuo's been done yet, except, from what some theories say, Emerald.

Sun's from Vacuo, its implied to be hot and the students don't have a uniform.  But otherwise, yeah either Atlas or Vacuo.

Yeah, compared to the average coloration of Atlesians and Mistralites, (as judged by the most recent episode where it shows the four schools) it is likely, though it could also just be a design decision, Sun moved to Mistral for schooling after all.  Additionally, there is always a chance that she is simply from one of the less safe villages that have been mentioned in the World of Remnant videos.

Whether or not I would join this depends entirely on the structuring and pace.
I like RWBY, and I imagine I'd like a RWBY RP, but if this would be a RotMG-pace game, I'd be actually incapable of playing. If this would be more structured, and more moderately-paced, I'd love to join.

I might have to step out then, as any game I tend to join ends up RotMG-paced, even if I don't have any influence on how the game is built.

As I spend a great deal of time either at work or asleep, I can slow the pace of any game to a crawl, though depending on the number and style of players it will end up as a RoMTG no matter who the GM is.

Seeing as half the RotMG base have hounded me for a RWBY game ever since I mentioned possibly making one after I considered a Persona game, you're going to get a lot of RotMG style players.

Its a big part of why the game has also spanned 3 threads, gotten a spin-off, and why TA literally blew up to the size it did as well.
