The Dragon King's Daughter

You stand in the great castle of Ornyx, waiting for an audience with the king. You are all here because you all saw the same request posted on every wall in the city: the princess has been kidnapped and he needs able warriors to find her. You know that inside the throne room now are officials from The Ghosts of the North, a ruthless mercenary band. It would be most unlike them to pass up such an opportunity for wealth and notoriety. Whether you’re here simply to serve your king or for the mounds of gold and fame surely to follow her rescue is up to you. But you stand in a group with four others with nothing else to do during the long wait other than talk amongst yourselves and stare at the lavish entrance hall you're in.

Maisha is the mother of all of life. It is by her whim that life exists. She is the most loved of all of the deities.
Domains: Air, Animal, Earth, Good, Healing, Plant, Protection, Sun, Water, Magic
Alignment: Chaotic Good

Ragnar is the god of war and destruction. He is entertained by the death and suffering of mortals and it is from him that all disputes originate and it is he who rules the Underworld, a place of eternal warfare and pain.

Alignment: Lawful Evil

Ixaris is the goddess of vengeance and sin. She sees not good and evil, only repentance. Those asking forgiveness ask it of her. Those who desire vengeance ask for her favor.
Domains: Chaos, Fire, Luck, Strength.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Kearus is the god of shadows. Thieves and murderers praise him and pray for his assistance in committing their dirty deeds.
Domains: Chaos, Destruction, Evil, Luck, Trickery
Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Fothar is the god of Justice. He closely watches mortals and decides what shall happen to them in the afterlife: eternal joy with the Mother or eternal damnation with Ragnar.
Domains: Good, Knowledge, Law, Protection
Alignment: Lawful Good

Tela is the goddess of the Forest. She doesn't tend to meddle in the affairs of mortals, remaining in seclusion with the animals of the forest. She is well-loved by druids and others who revere nature.

Alignment: Neutral

Ujun is the god of work. Artisans and farmers pray to him to bless their work and ensure a bountiful harvest.
Domains: Earth, Plant, Strength, Travel
Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Zartune is the goddess of death and necromancy. She despises good and will pursue her goals relentlessly but cunningly.
Domains: Death, Evil, Knowledge, Magic
Alignment: Neutral Evil

Byzona is the goddess of beauty, wine and song. She is a lover of fine things and those who are prosperous are said to be in her favor.
Domains: Good, Healing, Knowledge, Luck, Sun
Alignment: Neutral Good

-This is a PBP game played on this forum. Please try to keep the OOC comments here in the OOC thread.
-Refrain from Power Gaming, please.
-Please use Mythweavers to create your character sheet. In the "Additional Information" box, please designate a symbol and color for your character so that I may use it on maps created in Excel. Also include when your character prepares his/her spells (if applicable).
-We will use the 28 point buy system. You can use this.
-There are no multiclass penalties.
-Start at level one with the max HD and max starting gold for your class.
-You may reserve a spot. Spots remain reserved as long as you are posting in this thread. After 24 hours of inactivity, your spot will be given to another.
-During combat, you must post your action within 48 hours or your actions will be autoed to keep the game moving.
-You may choose TWO traits and TWO flaws. Please explain them on your character sheet.
-This is my first time as a mod. Please be patient as mistakes are imminent. Feedback and comments are encouraged.
-As always, I reserve the right to make changes and additions to these rules as is necessary. You will be notified and any necessary changes in-game will be made.

Sure. The idea is that I want to play a mute wizard, but I need some way of getting around Verbal components at Level 1.
