Hi I wonder what qualifies weapons as being tools that can be used for butchering and if I can apply this to teeth or claws. right now I'm playing a giant desert scorpion and I have to carry a dagger around on my back so I can butcher to eat when I get hungry.

I think it has to be a tool that has edge in it. Cleavers, forks and the diffrent knives work. I dont think claws or teeth work.

Organic weapons are different and aren't treated the same as man dwarf made weapons. So no, you can't do that. Unless theres some odd dwarf hack that magically does it, it's not a thing.
