Alrighty, I messaged him! If we don't hear back from him in 24 hours, it'll be moving on to Elephant Parade.

Also, before I'm delayed further, I would like a turn!

Not sure if dying of old age is an honor or a shame for weaponmasters. On the one hand, it means they never got the opportunity to die in glorious battle. On the other hand, it means nothing could beat them in glorious battle.

Woah, looks like I checked the old thread just in time. I really need to clear out my New Replies list.

Yup. I haven't heard from Scotsmen, and he hasn't been on since August, so I think you'll be up next. I'll PM you tomorrow if I haven't heard from him by the time I get out of lecture.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Is it time for a time paradox? I think it is!

Or not? O-o

Yeah, he responded to my PM, and said he would post shortly. So I guess we're waiting on him.

I suggest the simple expedient of posting IN GROUP that we've both accepted the turn and have downloaded the file - so that everyone else then has a one week timer to judge when to to start thinking that the turn may have once again been lost to limbo.  In my mind, that's just common courtesy.

That's why I set up the "three day acceptance rule" in all of my games since "Luckiest Tourist EVER": Players know that even if I'm away from the computer for more than a week for some reason, that the game can continue to pass from Player to Player smoothly because everyone has an in-forum timer.

Fair enough, I'll add that caveat to the OP.

The disappointing lack of responses from people participating in this has really pissed me off. It's been a week since the end of Dwarfy's turn, and he hasn't posted a write up still. Elephant Parade told me that he would post "tomorrow" 3 days ago now. From now on, I'm adding some rules if you guys agree. You have to post on the thread starting your turn, or you're skipped, and you have to post some sort of update withon two days, or you're skipped. I think that's fair, and it keeps things active. WHat do you think? Also, if Dwarfy doesn't post his update by the time I ask the next person to start, I vote we revert to the save at the end of my turn. I messaged him yesterday, but still no response. To all people wanting to run their turn: it's okay to say you can't go.

Sorry for the spelling errors, posted this on mobile.
