Sneak through the back door of the first magic shop I see and look for anything useful to steal.
[3]
You sneak into the back of "Potions & Salves: Crook'd Nose Family"
You see several many potions in the back storage area, you hear the owner walking into the back

Go inside the meeting hall.

You open the large pine doors and see three great long tables side by side and a last set perpendicular to the rest at the end covered in food, the other three are filled with people feasting. There are several fire pits on the sides of the building giving it warmth

There is a stage near the entrance that overlooks the tables and would allow a speaker to be audible to all people

Swipe a few random potions and leave before I get spotted.
[1]
You reach out to grab a few potions but miss knocking down the entire shelf. The bottles fall to the ground and shatter giving out a plume of magical smoke mix. You accidentally breath it in and shrink down to two feet tall, your hair bursts into flames, your voice becomes deep, and you now move at half the speed

The owner walks into the storage room and sees you

While he's surprised I try to strongly imply that I'm an Imp and intimidate him.

"I command you to turn a blind eye to the servant of the demon King Galzra lest you wish your insides to catch alight and your closest relatives to be tortured to death!"

[5]
The shop keeper believe you and runs away screaming
Your hair is now singed off and you are back to normal hight but still move slowly

Take two potions and leave before the shopkeeper returns with a band of demon hunters.
[2]
It takes you a minute but you get two healing Salves into your bag and leave
As you exit the slowness wears off and you trying so hard to move faster trip over your own feet and face plant dropping your quarter staff making a lot of noise

Snatch up my quarterstaff and enter an enchantment store via the front door.
[4]
you get your quarter staff, dust yourself off and head into the enchantment shop across the road.
the shop keeper looks at you and says, ¨What was all that ruckus across the street?¨

Look around, is there anyone notable around?

You see a few shop keepers, some trade caravan workers, and a few members of the town guard but no one of extreme importance

Take a look at my surroundings.  Stop fishing.

You reel in your line and look around, there is an empire ship coming in to the dock from the northern ice shelf. Looks like you may be needed on the docks for your local duty of helping load and unload trade ships

"Ho! Ho! Ho! To the bottle I go. To heal my heart and drown my woe! Rain may fall, and wind may blow-and many miles be still to go..." Desmond sang, strolling down the street.

25 Ragnars bounced cheerily in his pocket, the gift of a grateful citizenry who were no longer plagued with giant grass snakes. Of course they were harmless, but who was he to ruin the moment? Now he had a raging thirst, all things aside, and has eyes for a certain freckled washerwoman he had seen in town...

Of course he would keep his eyes open for new opportunities. He did tend to spend money pretty quickly...

Action: Time for some general debauchery-spend money, enjoy myself. Also look for the other players.

Go over to one of the guards.

"Has there been any monster attacks as of late?

Guard:¨No, no monsters as of recently. Though a bandit party has been harrasing the roads leading to the river trading posts¨

You enter the great meeting hall and grab a plate of food and a mug of brew and sit down next to the town guard who you know to help find quests. A man (Dwarmin) walks up to the guard and asks about monsters or some other and the guard tells him about bandits.

Head to work.  Keep stiletto hidden.
You get to the dock yard and a high elf official grabs you by the arm and takes you off to the side
he looks at you, ¨Name?!?¨

Desmond thought he could debauch a lot better than this, munching on sausages and watered down apple wine. Sigh.

"...humm, bandits, ay! Whats the going rate? Any good bounty on them? I hear Ugnar the Unctuous was unpleasantly, though politely, robbing merchants as of late. And Randalf the Rampacious got TWO axes, and he's twice as mean. Demeter the Devilish was just released from prison...on good behavior..

Lots of alliterate bandits around lately, s'all I'm saying."

"Oh it was just a store keeper, he thinks he saw an Imp, can you believe it? I think his mind may be going, but nevermind about that, can you offer me any enchantments for this?" I put the quarterstaff on the counter.

The old shop keeper looks at the staff and runs his hand through his scraggly beard
after a moment he looks back up, ¨I have two, one would allow it to cause fire damage on impact and another would be able to freeze limbs on contact¨
