I'm with hapah, except I don't think even A is possible. I think killing the eater has a chance, and that it is our only chance for success, and to minimize the risk of that just killing whoever attempted it, it should be a zombie. I think not running at this point will just result in throwing our characters lives away for nothing. My character can't do anything at this point, so I am sticking with my run action. I strongly suggest we open the sarcophagus and get a mummy to kill the eater while the rest of us run like hell.

Hold the tiny statue under the shroud.
[2+1]
Well, you get a massive headache and you're pretty sure you know more about sculpture then you've ever needed or wanted to know, but beyond that, nada.

Whether they're friendly or not, balls of fire moving towards me is probably not good.
Go back to the entrance. Do they follow me or do they keep going to where I lit the fire?

You hastily run back toward the entrance. The balls seem to ignore you and instead head over to where you lit the fire. Hmm.

Hm. Well, if there are loose shards around, get them.

Observe how the fireballs are moving toward Dubley. Any peculiarities in their approach? How quickly are they moving? Is the movement at a constant velocity, or is acceleration visible? Do they still communicate with one another?

If they're moving toward me as well, make an exit to the icy chamber.

You grab some shards.

They seem to be just sort of slowly drifting down toward where he lit that fire. It's hard to say if they're communicating, but they're overall acting the same.

"Forge this. That thing wants the Eater? I'll give him to it."
Amp-throw the Eater cocoon upwards to the sun fire thing.

((Giving Eater to ball = autofail, most likely.  A MK3 individual could still maybe tackle the Eater-ball and introduce horizontal momentum, then guide it to the pit by readjusting its trajectory with the rockets.  Unless someone shoots it.  But Tek is running.  He has no guns and no MK3.))

"We have failed."

Order 2 zombies to carry King Sulan'takan'litkham'ramen and run away as quickly as possible, following Hapah.  Other zombies should try to crack the shell and kill the Eater using  any available weapons including rocks, dropped weapons, and natural weapons such as teeth and nails.
"We're on our own here. Man up. Right, I'm gonna try something incredibly dangerous. If I die, I have something to tell you. Pick up that goddamn phone, because guess what? I called it."

Use my Micro amp to flash freeze the eater.

We've got three competing actions here along with a lot of running. Figure out a compromise here or I'm just gonna roll dex and do the action of whoever gets the highest.

Assuming none of the actions have catastrophic consequences (which is a big if), could we set up a sequence of events, like kill-freeze-throw? Would that be acceptable if all the parties are on board?

((I'd rather have the Eater up in the air before Morul freezes it. I suppose my preferred order would that some zombies open the cocoon and try to kill it, I toss whoever is now the Eater upwards if killing it fails, and Morul can freeze the Eater up in the air.))

((How about doing them all at the same time? Fits the theme of panic alright. Roll for all three actions and see which one has the most 6+1 in it.))

"Looks promising, this distraction thing. Opinion, Dubley?"

By "communicating" I meant that conjugation-like thing where they connect to each other and presumably exchange information and/or plasma.

Anyway, well. Is there any exit other than the way we came from and where Dubley (and the spheres) just went?

If Dubley starts leaving the way we came, follow.

Works for me, just wanna make sure the Big Boss is cool with sequenced actions like that. Dunno why he wouldn't be but always good to check anyway.

That's a vote for Kill-Throw-Freeze, which sounds fine to me (I'd rather not freeze but I'm in no position to stop you). Gorat/Tek/Morul, you all on board with that?

Either this or kill, freeze, throw is fine with me.

((Well, as far as I see, kill-freeze-throw only works best for killing us. We kill the Eater, not weakening him, freeze him, likely strengthening him, and if I'm right about that, we're toast so I can't toss him upwards. I'd honestly prefer not freezing him at all, but if we really have to, then at least as far away as possible.))

"Looks promising, this distraction thing. Opinion, Dubley?"
"Exactly what I was thinking. Come, lets keep exploring!"

Sneak past the fireballs. Utilize the grappling hook to climb to one of the other exits (not the cold one and not the one the fireballs are investigating. There are other exits, right?)

Follow Dubley's lead. Carefully. If I start melting or burning, return to the cooler exit.

You lot that are doing stuff to the Eater have the final word; I'm just trying to help you get on the same page. Currently:

Gorat prefers Kill-Throw and no Freeze at all
Tek is fine with either Kill-Freeze-Throw or Kill-Throw-Freeze
Morul hasn't weighed in yet

Tek, could you work with just Kill-Throw?
