((Yeah, it could be chucked towards the pit and then someone in a MK3 could rush over there, catch it or at least slow its impact, throw it in the pit, and perform the ritual.  That sounds pretty good to me, though there is a chance everything could go wrong.  And it's extremely dangerous, which is fun.

Would Feyri be up for that, Tiruin?  If not, do we have anybody else in a MK3?))

((Give the zombie a gun and order it to shoot the eater? And I think the no shadow part is probably one of the most important details. The eater gets more active in the dark, we can't lift it off the ground [which could be because that is guaranteed to create a shadow]. I think shadows are how the eater is able to jump hosts after it is killed, and that the pit is likely a bowl of some sort, minimizing the likelihood a shadow will be cast, as well as waaaay the heck away from any city)

((Yes, kill the Eater. Because that's not made things worse in any way thus far, and we have every reason to expect that it will work perfectly.

The second sun is changing the rules of the game, I think. If you kill the Eater now, there's absolutely no telling what might happen. I'd bet we're all going to die, but I've bet that the entire time anyway.))

'tis a safe bet.

I guess it boils down to whether or not we feel that being close to the Pit, with the giant angry sun overhead, is "good enough".

Continue dragging the Eater onward to glory and/or death!

((Edit: Zombies will attempt to kill Eater (though personally I still doubt it will work) if Eater shell is opened.  So, someone needs to crack that.  Otherwise they will push.  We may need someone to talk to Steve as to how best to guide us to the pit. 

The end is near, whether good or bad.  Probably bad, though.))
