While the mountains harbor mainly tribes or orcs and goblins, there are a scattering of kobold tribes and giant bands in  several of the north most passes, and many gnolls and beastmen roam the south.
The swamp contains mainly lizardmen and degenarate snks, or snakemen, as well as a much larger population of beastmen, a clan or two of fog giants, and several goblin tribes. You hesiate but in the end turn

You find a large group of fog giants in the extreme northwest of the swamp. They are unusual for several reasons.
