Or we could hunt down and trap  a dragon. Cause there seems to be some kind of dragonborn race and we're a tribe of giants.

You can make charcoal. As for coal, you'll have to look for it.

Day 1 800 hrs

First, you begin with searching for clay. You find massive amounts of it near a small rise that is relatively dry. Your attempt to build a forge however, goes miserably. You do not have any sort of relavent knowledge, so first you build a house-like structure with a pair of chimneys. The clay is not strong enough to support a roof, however, and most of it collapses. The next thing you try is to build an oven in the rear, which begins to look great, until the left side sags inward.

Frusturated, you begin thinking about fuel. You first debate about capturing a dragon, and file it under long term plans. The next idea is to make some charcoal. On the small rise, you construct a large pile of wood near the back, next to the stone cliff that borders it and light the fire, carefully spending much of the morning tending to the fire. You end up with a few pieces of charcoal.

Attempt to build a smaller forge about waist height for copper & the such, use regular stone inlaid the structure to make sure its supports itself, the surround it with fire making supplies and tinder to cook it into hard clay.

I think our attempts at constructing a forge are doomed to failure until we can find a more rationally built template or a more knowledgeable villager on smelting.

Look for obsidian or chert and attempt to make a spear head. Then, look for a nice, thick branch and attempt to make a spear shaft.

+1 because we need to do something, our industrious mind will require something to do.
