Yeah, but that's what I'm talking about. An Islam-themed marriagecake would be against his beliefs too.

Nope. The issue at stake here is that the Bible specifically says that gay people should be celibate. An Islam-themed wedding cake would be totally fine.
You can be married and celibate.
Though maybe not in Christian terms, I'm not sure exactly how that goes.

I don't care what anything says, if you sell cakes and I ask a (legal) cake you have to make it. Just like I don't think a printer shop should be allowed to refuse to print messages it doesn't like(as long as they are legal.

Btw the bible explicitely state that they are to be cut off from their peoples and stains the very ground they stand on... I'll never understand why peoples says thy "believe in the bible" when they pick and choose that much. It also explain how and when you should sacrifice rams and other beast to the lord, something that everyone let down, for no real reasons.

To make myself clear I don't say you should be more literal, I say that you should drop the other half, too.

And yet, bus drivers are allowed to refuse custom if they don't like the look of passengers.

Well... as noted, you're welcome to that belief, but it's very much in contrary to the legal situation in, at least, the US. Buying and selling is entering into a contract with one another, and there are very, very few situations in which you can force someone to enter contract with another person. It's a very basic, very fundamental part of contract law that provides the precedence for almost any business to refuse service to anyone, under any circumstance.

Things still seem rather chill over here, Cryxis.

Marriage is one of those things I don't have memorised Bible quotes on, but I think the deal is that the Bible specifically mentions one man one woman. I've never actually noticed that though, and I've never seen the major problem with gay marriage itself. I'll look it up just now.

Phmcw, it appears that that is in fact legally how it works here as well. It's still an absolute dick move on the part of the gay marriage guys.

Btw the bible explicitely state that they are to be cut off from their peoples and stains the very ground they stand on... "Love your neighbour as you love yourself" "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone"

Jesus stopped a mob from stoning an adulteress. I doubt he'd be too stoked about me saying "Oh no, that only applies to adultery!"

Arx, I'm pretty sure you're ignoring the whole leviticus and I never saw a good reason for it.

On what point? I just explained why Christians don't stone gay people, which is the only thing I can think of you might be referring to.

Burning the bones and fat of things you eat as an offering to the lord, for instance. Offering sacrifices any time you sin is another one.

Phmcw: In the Acts of the Apostles, God talked to the Apostles and told them that they could pretty much ignore all pre-Jesus biblical laws except for a few, like not eating food offered to idols or not eating blood.

So yeah, by the Bible, black pudding is more of an abomination unto God than the gayest sex ever.
