And no god doesn't condone sin in any form even if it is for a good cause
Didn't we have that a couple pages back? The short answer is: Yes, he does. Quite explicitly so.

Ya up until you hit the point of human existence for Christians
Which is to spread the word of god
And how would that happen if all Christians aborted their kids to save them the trouble, oh yeah, there wouldn't be Christianity because they all DONT EXIST ANYMORE
It wouldn't just be Christians, it'd apply to anyone. Unless you're going to say that only Christian babies go to heaven.

Which is exactly what makes it so selfless. You are giving the unborn children, absolute 100% free pass to heaven where they will be happy and free from suffering for all eternity. You are doing so knowing that god will never forgive you and that you will suffer for it forever. Assuming christianity is true, I can't think of a more selfless action.

It also makes god look like a huge dick. He's punishing you because you because he wanted them to suffer for a while before he let them in, and because he wanted to send a non-zero number of them to hell.

I'm not sure we really have to worry about all christians suddenly aborting their children, and even if they did I'm sure god could figure something out - he managed to get everyone to believe in the first place after all (unless he decided it was not worth the trouble and he's just sending everyone to hell forever from now on).

I'm saying Christians in General would do that
Why would an atheist kill their kid if they don't believe in that

@burnt toast
Killing them keeps them from doing what god sent them here for in the first place.
Sure it's selfless but it's still murduring your kid
Since it still apply still age of accountability would you think it's ok if I smothered my neice in her sleep
Would you think that as selfless?

We're talking about the mechanics of the system here, not its implications. Given full information, it would be a selfless act for any person to kill a child. I mean, the rules apply to everyone, it's not as if they were created solely for Christians, else what would be the point of evangelism.

Since it still apply still age of accountability would you think it's ok if I smothered my neice in her sleep

If you are guaranteeing an eternity of perfection for someone else in exchange for your own suffering, then yes. That would be selfless.

Of course not, because I don't believe heaven is real.

However, if I honestly and truly believed in god and heaven, and honestly and truly believed with 100% certainty that god would send her straight to heaven where she would be happy and free from suffering for all eternity then logically, yes that would be a selfless and noble act on your part.

No, because I don't think things work the way you do.
I'm trying to understand why you think you shouldn't murder your niece. Unless it's for selfish reasons I don't see why you, with your belief system, wouldn't.

Because she has a job on this earth
That is to spread christ's word
If I kill her, I might as well condemn those ,the ones she is here to reach or at least plant the seeds of Christ in, to hell

So what is the purpose of a baby born into, and believing, Hinduism? Surely God would choose to give all the "jobs" (life) to those that were going to be raised in his word? Other religious beliefs would soon become infertile.

Also, by your logic you should kill every single non-christian child.

Because, you know, if you don't then they lose their free pass into heaven. You'd be saving them from eternal damnation.

No
You have the choice to do your job
Killing them would also take away their choice
How do I know a person born and raised Hindu won't convert later

On a side note due to juedism and Islam being built on similar stones as Christianity I am thinking of opening this thread to them as well
Just with a few more rules to keep it from going out of control

a) How many people do you realistically think she will save from eternal suffering? Even one? Unless she's really dedicated her life to evangelism I doubt it. And are slight possibilities worth a 100% guarantee?
b) Those people would not be in the position of being damned to hell if they had already been killed as children.
