Meanwhile, the old old man waves to the ambassador, and walks around behind the tavern. The dwarves follow him, leaving the crowd behind.
I just sent a PM where I left the tavern by the back entrance.

If you need a goal, here's one: Become the richest and most powerful people in the known world through any means necessary!

I'm going to pause here to give everyone a chance to post.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Don't worry, II. It's prohibitively expensive.

We should run our plans like the American military. Why should we have 5 x's that kill 100 y's when we could have 2,000 Z's that kill 0 y's because we can't deploy them. Come on Immaterial, get your head in the game. Cost effectiveness is for people with intelligence scores over 13.

Of which Lanius has neither [shush] so we may now commence doing stupid shit until we find a plot thread. Well, you guys do. I'm repairing a plow for like... two gold tops?

You'd be lucky if the plough itself was worth that much.

Oh well. Lanius committed to this. It would be bad for a blacksmith to just up and walk away from a job. There's also the fact that he doesn't know you guys are about to get into a scrape with the law.

So, a quick status report on who/what/where kind of things. I'll post this on the IC thread as well.

Wyrne Carver, Mic Jak's-Con Ehal, Veneficus Jenlus, Malkor, the priests' guard and horses: Hanging out in front of the tavern
Razed, High Priest Urien: Chatting behind the tavern
Lanius: Working in the smithy on the edge of the village
Father Eogan: Last seen walking away from the village centre
Dwarven ambassador, his guards: Inside the tavern

Most of the peasants have gone home. Some are wandering about doing peasanty things, but for the most part they're ignoring you.

It's mid morning, and the weather is clear. It's not cold, but the breeze is slightly chilly.

Excellent. I'll update tomorrow. Probably. Spam me with PMs and the like if I become lax.

Thank you!
Another question: I know it's pretty cheesy, but would you rule that Bardic Knack gives languages through bonuses in Speak Language?
You don't actually have ranks in Speak Language the way you do in other skills.

I recommend making the spells that do almost nothing (prestidigitation comes to mind) unlimited, so that you don't truly expend a spell just to turn your hat red.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Prestidigitation has been given the nickname Minor Wish.
It is far, far from "almost nothing".
