Our special steel is very expensive to make however.

Also, very work intensive.

Point taken. Then can we agree on making Sailor Safety Vests and Army Battle Vests?

2 different projects really but very similar. Sailor Vests are made to stop shrapnel from grape shot (or other debris) from our sailors in a naval battle. Battle Vest is just a to stop small arms fire from say handguns and hunting rifles. Both armors cover the torso but the sailor model also covers the neck and genital areas.

Sailor armor is..basically modern flak armor but obviously more crude considering what we are working with.

I've bolded and underlined to address main points of what it should be. Hope this convinces you all :)

More Ideas! More Ideas!

Should we follow our old plans or we need something else for the rest of this year?

Spoiler: Current inventions (click to show/hide)

Is that using aeronautical steel, or current materials. Because we need to make sure that our ships don't sink if we armor our sailors.

Current materials. Aero steel is not ready to be mass produced or produced efficiently yet.

Well, seems to be a nice project for them to work on while we go on businessvtrip.

Good point.

+1 to leaving our team to make aero steel producible in mass qualities or just more efficiently produced.

An by leave i mean to bearland with the Navy chief and the foreing minister (if possible the foreign minister do a little convincing that having good relations with them could mean that they trade some of there awesome minerals. A trade deal would help tremendously not just our research team but the economic conditions of the nation in total.))

I was however, conceding that your plan was the better one.

Especially as the GM told us:

Seems we have to train our assistants some more before they can do more useful stuff.

So then that's 2 for my plan to leave to bearland with the navy chief and foreign affairs minister.

so this sounds to be the plan:

Using free action to instruct one lab to design half cuirass (Army Battle Vests) and the other to design Full cuirass (Sailor Safety Vests)
Then we go to Bearland (1 month) /w navy chief & foreign minister, and back (1 month)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

INTERLUDE:

The Navy Chief got a few friends back in Queenland. With Queenlandian pride, he obviously believed that Queenlandian ships are the best. Meanwhile, the foreign minister wanted to forge relations with Gentleland and they have been arguing for a few days.

Both wanted you to jump on their ship; It goes without saying that both ministers have friends in their preferred destination. They promise you to go to Bearland first if you help them - its 2 to 1 situation after all.

You will receive monthly updates via the ethero-plasma trunk telegraph network, should you need it.

I suggest we go to Queenland, since we need ships sooner rather than later. Suggest that next year we go to Gentleland.

+1 while the navy chief talks up his friends (who he'll introduce us to hopefully) we'll try and seek knowledge about Vulcanology since our aero steel idea's are being halted by this. Also research on how Queenslands machinery works would be nice also.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Try to be a bit diplomatic about it though. Ie, make clear that you think that you yourself could not  aid much in Gentleland, and that you trust the foreign minister completely.

PTW. While we're out there, maybe we should ask if the Queenlanders or Bearlanders have any similar alloys to what we're trying to produce?
