Over 5 million Gmail accounts compromised

I haven't seen a thread on this yet, so I figured I might as well post it.

In summary, a guy called tvskit posted a text file on a Russian website called Bitcoin Security which contained the email and passwords of about 5 million Gmail accounts.

(Also apparently other sites' accounts were breached as well but I'm not sure about that)

Most of the information collected is outdated and so far nothing major had happened yet, but it would be a good idea assume your password is compromised.

I found two websites that claim to check if your account is compromised, but I don't guarantee if they're reliable:

Of course, there's also good 'ol Google's advice that you should read: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/50270?hl=en

I read somewhere that isleaked.com was registered *before* the leaks, which makes it seem dubious. I also read somewhere that isleaked.com was created for an earlier leak (explaining the early registration), but I can't verify that. So I would be careful about dropping your email on any of these email checking websites.

I did have someone break into my Origins account and try to change my warthunder account password. Pretty sure this was related, at least somewhat. Nothing major, but still, started making another secure password now. 10 characters of random uppercase lowercase, and numbers and symbols. At least my steam account didn't get hit, and whoever tried to access my accounts had no idea how to gain control over them as far as I could see.

One of my passwords was hacked a whol back and got change, but since I have four emails I was just "haha fucker" and got it changed to something else.
Plus, my emails contain nothing but college promotion spam, daily announcements from school, and bay12 notifications, so have fun with that one.
