Well, we'll see what they come up with, but yeah, a Parliament of England would be the logical way to go.

Well, at least the Owlbread's city was the one with the highest percentage of Yes votes... Dundee City - the bastion of Yes!

Well, it's a well-known fact Owlbread reproduce by burgeoning, like a yeast, and that 24% of Dundee's population is made of tiny Owlbread.

The end result will probably be something more like Canadian or Australian-style federalism. Maybe split England back into the Heptarchy so the populations of the country's provinces aren't so imbalanced...

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Yeah, a Federal system where Westminster retains centralised power of some sort with representatives from all areas of the UK that makes laws for the whole of the UK, with the already devolved NI, Scots and Welsh assemblies granted greater powers, and some sort of English parliament with some kind of proportional representation from each of the traditional 7 kingdoms would be my way of seeing it. Still the UK, but less of an "overrule" from English dominance.

And Alex Salmond is stepping down, as both First Minister and leader of the SNP.

To be honest, I'll be glad when all this independence stuff is over. All the random internet debates are killing me.

Currently I'm somehow arguing with a guy who is comparing Scottish independence with Black rights in the US.

Why.

Because people are fucking stupid, that is why.

Salmond unfortunatley had no choice - hoisted on his own petard, so to speak. Who can blame him? His heart would not be in leading a Scotland still part of the UK, so fair play for him allowing someone else to step into the breach instead of going through the motions.
