I don't know why, but I'd see some sort of lance (mounted cavalry spears) as their two handed weapon of predilection.

A bit like this:
(OK, it's just a spear, but to give an idea).

good one.i imagine it having a very powerful stab attack, but quite costly in terms of resources. and how about a really big scythe? it doesn't fit thematically, but it would be cool.

anyway, Is the royal jelly the same as beekeeping royal jally? That could be !!FUN!! to people playing other races who side-use beekeeping. I prefer them to go to a building (Furnace for value?) called a throne room, made of twenty blocks (Ahhh good ol' paper cement), a throne, six statues, and six weapons. When the worker is at this furnace, they run a reaction to transform them into a queen or a drone.

Yes, the royal jelly in the raws should be the one produced in hives. Its not hardcoded, you can edit that as you like.

EDIT: The materials mentioned in the throne room are EXAMPLES, not what I want used. I definitely want the 20 blocks and the throne

To be fair, the gif I put is a bee-woman, nothing wasp related, but you see much more bee-people than wasp-people in the various fantasy worlds (usually as enemies, with spears).

And yeah, I tend to favour manga-style japanese RPGs, and the graphics don't really suit DF's worl.

Waspen mind sounds cool. and it could also be used to store knowledge... when we think of a suitable mechanic to do so. don't worry about the materials, paper cement spam for the rescue!
