i finished updating the buildings and the slaves.Now i will add reactions to produce the torture chamber's building materials(or possibly make a new one),and then i will modify the slave podium's reaction so that the slave doesn't leave a corpse behind.

Is the civ for 34 or 2014? Also if we don't have giant capillers for war creatures then maybe I can find a way to do them.

Hey guys, it seems like we live in different time zones.

Anyway i had a couple of  ideas involving the parasitism.

1. We do a traditional queen injects target with egg scenario. I like this idea because it forces the player to think creativly on how to prevent the queen from killing the target, we can also add sedatives as well if you want it easier on the player.

2. The queen spawns eggs which hatch into larva and the larva will find a target to infect, the problem is the larva are weak and slow meaning the player has to micromanage the enemy to prevent it from killing the larva.

which one do you like better?

also one more idea, I think we should make it so that alcohol has to be purified before the wasps can drink it. I'm thinking either make a separate workshop or add a reaction to the brewery making it possible to distill away the alcohol leaving only the juice. I'm thinking that pure alcohol will be created as a byproduct and it will be called "Waspen vodka". It is a valuable trade good but will kill your wasps if they drink it. If they drink normal alcoholic drinks then they will vomit a lot and get bad thoughts.

First one sounds better but can't you do the workshop interaction where are you place acreature on the workshop by penning where it spawns a larva like armoring a boar.

there is nothing left to update for now. only the getting started page is left, and i cannot complete it until we've ran some test forts.

1. i don't think you can actually stop the queen from attacking. the problem is that it will devolve into a battle no matter what.
2. so,the larva aren't actually parts of the wasps or are they a special caste?

as of now,there's no reason for the wasps to produce and import high quality alcohol. maybe the NOEMOTIONS tag was not a good idea after all... i like the idea that wasps would find the stuff toxic (as in real life) , but that a whole lot of writing... one reaction for each booze means over 100 different reactions. maybe we could make the wasps take one brew, any brew, and produce two particular products? and i'm sure we can find a use for waspen vodka other than a trade good... maybe fuel?

a creature will always have a push attack,which will deal quite a lot of damage, because the queen's chitin is very hard and she's huge.it's not that impractical (mostly copy-paste) but it won't actually deprive her of attacks.

well fine then, what sedatives do is that they are a type of food that a queen will eventually eat, after a specific delay the queen will become unconscious. The secret here is to time the time when the sedatives activate to when the queen will start attacking enemies, so that after she gets off a couple of attacks she will fall unconcious, the secret now is preventing the enemy from killing her in this new state.

Both of those are perfectly moddable. suggestion 2 would just be a landmine that doesn't kill itself when it explodes and the explosion is just renamed hornet swarm although I don't know whether or not it can kill vermin.
