The main problem is that the mod can't be ported to 40.xx unless the spawnunit script or something like it is updated since the queen won't be able to lay eggs. Also makeown would also need to be updated

 the spawn script has already been updated. the thing is, autosyndrome doesn't work anymore. now we'll have to use something called "reaction trigger". also we'll have to wait for the minion script and for the makeown script to be updated, though we can work around the  minion one if we really need to. lastly, without syndrome stones, I have no clue how transformations will work in the new dfhack. but what we can do is at least convert the creatures (gaits and stuff), the weapons and the entity file. also, the mod should be playable now. there will still be bugs/imbalances,but the main mass should be fixed by that moment.

insane, we really need to update the first post, by the way....

that's a neat idea. also, we need to test it a little bit more. We should all play a hive for some years and see what small or big bugs pop up...

That was a male egg problem, which was trying to transform into a female egg type. It didn't ended well, but it was simple to fix for than.

While writing the manual and shuffling through the reactions, I noticed several tweaks that can be made in organic weapons in order to make them more usable. I'll upload a new file later on with the tweaks.

lose limbs or tearing ligaments? because they're really not supposed to lose limbs that easily. soldier chitin is iron hard and even worker chitin is copper hard.
