In every single one of my classes, there's always at least one person (usually two) sitting next to me who is constantly shaking their leg. It's extremely irritating and distracting. Logic tells me it's probably just random chance and negativity bias, but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm one of only an elite few that can manage to keep their limbs still for prolonged periods of time. I'm guessing they all drive to school then drink caffeinated beverages, or something.

I sit in the front row, so that somewhat limits my sample size of visible people. If I sat further back, I'd have to see even more people fidgeting.

I fidget a lot while listening to music. Does that mean we can't be friends?

I've never been able to sit still. Shaking my leg, playing with something, etc. lets me focus.

I am also one of those who can't focus when sitting still. Usually, I keep a stress ball around or a calculator to punch random equations into.

As long as it's not in my field of view I don't have a problem. I'm extremely hypersensitive and can't tune it out. Sometimes I wish I could wear horse blinders in class instead of having to use my hand I need to write with. I already bring earplugs for the sounds. It's not conductive to my learning.

The elitist part was just my standard snark. I think it's from a US Marines commercial or something. Yes, I'm aware they can't help it, but it still... makes... me... cringe!
Aaarg! My brother has been clicking his mouse loudly the entire time I've been writing this. My headphones are at a painful volume and I can still hear the clicks. HOWWWWW!?

I actually had that kind of hypersensitivity to things. Really very unpleasant.

Trying to watch It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia for the first time.
It really is one of those shows that, while funny, contains too much cringe to be easily watchable.

Edit: Okay, I see what all the fuss is about now. This is fucking hilarious.
I'm on the second episode and I'll probably be here 'til 6 AM at least.

For you medical folks out there, i was just reminded by Wikipedia that "coning" is a thing that can happen with raised intracranial pressure. While i am actually kind of squeamish when it comes to meatspace violence, this EASILY ranks first on my "NGUH" list due to it combining several oddly specific fears of mine.
