Ethivul is awesome. uh...don't look at the GDP numbers...Ethivul is STILL awesome.

((seriously though, I might actually be able to win this, despite having a GDP of half that the next nation up.))

Actually, maybe Sheb should replace Tirina with Elfeater bowing out.

Yes, Sheb can certainly step in as the new delegate for Tirina.

Also, if you look at New Gavalon's encyclopedia entry, I find it difficult to believe they will be bombing anybody.

For some reason, I can't stop chanting "Please go away" to the tune of Come Sail Away.

Sheb, you don't need to PTW, you can join as Tirina.

Don't let me tell you guys what to do, but since a simple majority is what's necessary for an amendment to pass, 7 votes Yay is enough, however most IRL voting sessions do not stop at the necessary amount, they make sure everyone votes. And you're not supposed to introduce a new amendment until the last one has been voted on. Just some advice. Probably something that the Assembly Leader should keep in mind.

Wouldn't that slow thing down much though? IRL everyone is physically present so it makes sense to vote amendment one at a time, but here, since people aren't online all the time, waiting for everyone to vote each single time would slow the game tremendously.

Also, if I understand correctly, only a single committee can be in session at a time? So over half of the player won't be able to participate at any single time?

Finally, can I start posting before getting my objectives?

I think part of the challenge of the game is supposed to be in getting your committee adequately timetabled and attempting to influence committees you can't take part in. But yeah, that rule could be changed by the policy committee...

Or we could just make separate threads for each committee, and assume our delegates have clones or something in each room.

There was also supposed to be a 24-hour waiting period wherein everyone checked in before the discussion began, and there was supposed to be a set time limit by the Assembly Leader as to how long the discussion and amendments could continue before a vote had to commence on the proposal. IRL everyone is not physically present, for example Mitch McConnell was absent for 93% of all the votes in his committees. There is no rule stating that everyone present has to vote on a proposal before it's considered whether or not it passed, that's just a rule of thumb for how all votes work in real life (largely so that people have to take a stance, even if that stance is to abstain).

Sheb, .

InsanityIncarnate, only one committee can have a forum at one time, so there's no need to be in two places at once.
