It's a twenty foot drop and he's in no condition to tie himself to a rope and be pulled out.
The rocks where you are are not very stable, you'll need to think of something quick before the whole team is dropped into the abyys

Have the lightest of my guards remove his/her kit then lower them down on the rope to attach it to the wounded man. Pull them both back up.

You begin the process of tieing them up when the rock underneath you tilts and you fall about 10~15 feet landing on your back but your armor/kit soften the impact.
The 'cavern' is dark and the rock you fell on tilted closed so you can't see the surface.

Use a grenade on the corner of the rock where it meets the side of the hole so it falls in away from us.

You can not see the hole in the roof
Also you don't know how large the room is not can you hear the other guy that fell in earlier. Almost seems like you're in a different section of cavern/crevas

The radio is a bit spotty and the group above is just able to get "come down here" out of your message

The NV goggles help very little as they require at least some light to work. You attempt to relay the message again multiple times but the stone in the crevas is too thick and it takes about twenty times till you think you hear a reply of some sort
You are unable to find a connecting wall or anything linking you to the other team mate
You hear the voice of the hive mind speak very softly as though it were standing right behind you,"So you thought you were done dealing with me did you?"
