With his materials in hand Kyle finds a nice shady tree and starts preparing his various bits and bobs for crafting. As he does so he whistles a little tune.

You arrive and there are 70 people, seems even more showed up
You put them through rigorous testing and personally quiz them all

Ensure 4 have medical training ,4 have explosive training, 4 have sniper training, 4 have heavy weapon training and take the 4 best fighters for my heavy assault troopers.

Ensure all have exceptional skill in hand to hand, marksmanship, stealth and urban warfare.

Kyle starts carving notches in the sticks to put the heads in, he makes sure to set aside the best flints first and measure them compared to the stick for the best fit he can. He uses the lesser flints to get a better edge on the better flints if needed.

A few are lacking in one or two of the mandatory fields but those can be trained and after all the ones lacking are 16, 15, and 18

All the sticks have the notches needed and you are able to get 12 perfectly fitting and razor sharp flints ready for the sticks

They begin their training in the fields they need more work in

The auxiliary commander (different than the one you talked to before) approaches you while you are training your men,"I have an assignment for your group, one to get you on your feet as a militia group and get recognized by sanctuary. Unlike the other commanders I like this team"

"Seems like there is a large party of scavengers out around that hospital area, they've been getting desperate for supplies and their raids were able to get them that far into the walls of Sanctuary, they literally over ran the guards posted on the walls. We need someone to go out and stop them before they attack Sanctuary itself. We need your group to either destroy/sabotage their storage/supplies or attack them and run them off. Your choice"
