Ayleen listened to the song of the bard and let her thoughts drift away to years gone by, of sailing over waves and the call of the windless sea. She remembered her journeys through the lands with every footfall, each step on grass reminding her of adventures come and gone. She was happy she was alive, and that gave her all the more determination to save those in need. ...She wondered if the Prince's group was not of the lethally protective type.

Opening her eyes, she was already quite close to the nearest of the entourage.
