My idea for Peren was to have him be born to a couple of elves in the spy service of the crown. Growing up, he was trained in stealth, infiltration and assassination by his parents. Once he could, he was recruited into the service, where he served for twenty years. He decided to leave after he got into a fight with his superiors about a mission. I'll leave the specifics up to tompliss, but it was probably something about covering up the king's mistakes/transgressions/illegitimate children. Now, retired with an honorable discharge, he's looking for a way to pay the bills.

Edit: And description-wise... He wears dark clothes, mostly muddled brown and grey, never pure jet black. He wears his hair long, in a ponytail, covering the pointy tips of his ears with. Since elves are almost unheard of in Damara, he prefers to not be gawked at, but doesn't pull up his hood unless it's necessary.

Whatever. At least my character is done. More or less. I should probably add more into the personality/flaws sections, but that's the kind of stuff that I figure out in the RP so eh. _{Also she's a magician who steals books, who else would I base her off of?}

Hey Tom, what does "Calm Emotions" do? I mean it SOUNDS obvious but how often does it come up? Because I'm thinking that might fit the character more then heat metal if its something that could actually come up as something that's needed.
I mean, melting armor is all well and good, but I want to pull a "LET ME SEE YOU GRIT THOSE TEETH!" at some point if it is necessary. And it sounds like the kind of thing that would be more in line with the concept then the armormelt.

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute.
You attempt to suppress strong emotions in a group of people. Each humanoid in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range must make a Charisma saving throw; a creature can to choose this saving throw if it wishes. If a creature fails its saving throw, choose one of the following effects:
You can suppress any effect causing a target to be charmed or frightened. When this spell end, any suppressed effect resumes, provided that its duration has not expired in the meantime.
Alternatively, you can make a target indifferent about creatures of your choice that it is hostile toward. Wow, if the last few bits of dialogue in the IC thread are any indication I might need that Calm Emotions spell sooner then I thought
