Way to go guys.

Look around. See if anything happened while we've been alienating our only companion.

"Then how about I get you some optical sensors. You wouldn't be helping -me- if you gave me an idea of what to look for to allow -you- to see. Then you can see the truth of the matter for yourself. since you are clearly unwilling to trust the only scientist in a several hundred mile radius. Obviously I cannot give you access to the primary systems, due to the potential for infection. But if your AI is as advanced as It should be for the miraculous work that this facility used to create, you would be wise to help me help you."

"Also, according to your internal percentage of the facility being compromised, how much would an inside agent tip the scales in the favor of whoever the hell it was that destroyed this place. I am sure you have a roster of Defected or Potentially threatening scientists."

"Lastly, My illogical survival is certainly not for their lack of trying. I fell in a hole caused by charges set off during the attack.

We keep lying until we can insist that we are a chronic lier after a while, we can say that we finally found some medicine to help quell our mental illness.

"Fine, you ruin all the fun." Explain the situation truthfully, to the extent of our knowledge.

What is the point of this?

What makes you say that? It already knows you're lying. Not lying can only be good.

Because If we ADMIT to lying, then it has all the proof it needs. right now, The AI only believes that we are full of it, and has no definitive proof.

You've been making stuff up from the start:
"Actually being intelligent lost popularity in recent years as a sign of being a scientist, now lung capacity determines if you are fit to be a scientist, I can hold by breath for a whole minute!"
This is obviously a lie, then you continued to make up silly stories with no support (and for no obvious benefit). Not only does it believe you're a liar, it knows, because you're not very good at it. You've already dug your hole so turning around telling it the truth will not help much (for now) but telling more lies will definitely only make things worse.

Do you need to ask? It's just there to be the pointless shenaniganstm suggestion.
Simple, illogical and pointless suggestions are easy to upvote, they're also bad for games. Shade's actions have been counter to progressing the plot and it's very frustrating for me that this conversation between the PC and the robot has gone on for so much longer than intended. I could not have conceived that the AI would stonewall you and refuse to help, but after giving you multiple chances to stop the lie I had no choice but to proceed logically.

: Okay, I'll bite. Like I said, my name really is James McKenzie. I fell in here through a hole. I don't remember much of anything else.

: I see. If there really is a hole leading directly into the facility, then it has deteriorated significantly. This further corroborates my theory that the facility was abandoned. You have not seen any other humans or human remains?

: Now that you mention it, no I haven't. But I've only been in this corridor so far.

: Indeed. Proceed with or without me, you are unlikely to make it far if you don't. If you can provide me with a more substantial shell, I'll consider reactivating my emotional routines.

You're reminded that you're still standing in the hall.
