((So, needs existing light to work with. Well, I'll let it slide for now, we could just say that Tech lit the hall with her flashlight instead.))
((Got one more class, gets out at 3:20 PM. I'll move things forward if Arcvasti or someone doesn't post IC by 4 or so. Unless that's unfair, since people might be (and probably are) busy))

((Actually, this particular version works by way of illuminating with an inbuilt bank of infrared lights. It's not exactly stealthy - if you look at it through a viewfinder on a camera, say, there's a red glow - but it does have it's own "light source" attached.))

Arcvasti hightails it to the maintenance/generator room in an odd-shuffling "power walk", ready to use his scepter if he gets puppet-tackled.

Fortunately, Arcvasti encounters no resistance and sees no sign of the Giraffe. The generator looks undamaged: it seems the key was merely turned to the off position.

Arcvasti turns the key and then skedaddles back to the security room.

(For now, assuming that Ace and Tech fled and are either hiding in the restrooms or are with GR in the North Hall. Have to do this because the Knight is in play, who should probably be in the North Hall coming after GR already.)

The generator hasn't entirely stopped spinning, so it doesn't seem like it will require quite as long of a warmup. The dim lights flicker back on almost immediately. This doesn't help Iton much, as the part of the vents he's in seems to be away from any openings, but HugoLuman sees that the bot apparently headed in the same direction is the Giraffe, who seems to be ignoring him despite being only 6 feet away. [18] The Knight, having just stepped out of Security and around the corner in pursuit of GR, does not notice Arcvasti as he enters. The cameras don't seem to have come back on yet, though they were turned off when the power went out.

((Yeah, unless you attempt another action))

The Giraffe had nearly crossed the arcade now, heading into the Dining Area (as had HugoLuman, warily following behind it.) The noise in the vents was still moving that way, too.

((Double post, since there's not much for others to do relevant to this situation. If they take an action, though, it can be easily inserted within the time frame.))

Iton could feel himself getting dragged around a corner, then pulled a bit further before stopping. HugoLuman heard the noise in the vents start moving South near the threshold between the dining area and the arcade before it stopped. The Giraffe reached the door into the Kitchen and entered.  HugoLuman relayed what he saw back to Quasar. "Boss says the Giraffe's in the kitchen, and whatever's dragging Iton's headed there as well."

Suddenly, the doors that were closed before the power went off slid closed again, leaving Arc and Quasar alone in the Security room. The camera feed, having been turned off before the power was cut, remained off.

[4 vs 13-2] Despite the bot's awkward position, it being in a downward drop in the vents, Iton is unable to break free. After several seconds, he can hear a metallic scraping and scuffling from below him.

HugoLuman saw the Giraffe enter the Kitchen and, peeking through the door, sees it has made it over to the corner surprisingly fast and is removing the cover from the vent in there. He relays this to Quasar. "Boss says they're in the kitchen! That's where they're dragging Iton to!"

((Alright. I'll keep that one so far. Also, you're in the North Hall with the Knight pursuing you))

The Giraffe finishes taking the cover off the vent, and HugoLuman ducks back through the door, afraid it might turn around and see him. After a few seconds he can hear someone being dragged across a smooth surface but is afraid to look in.

Iton feels himself suddenly pulled downwards, out of the pitch blackness and into the dimly lit kitchen. He can see the Giraffe as he's pulled right past it out of the vent, and that the Spider is holding onto his leg. The Spider continues dragging him across the linoleum floor, towards the other side of the kitchen.
