And the newpaper or whatever. Didn't it mention some dog-themed superhero? If I were a classic megalomanical supervillain, I'd be into poetic justice and ironic fate kind of stuff. I... I actually think we should take the... Mammal along with us.**

"That's... a scary thought. I'd been going under the assumption that they'd eaten everyone, or driven them away, but some of the one's I've asked don't seem to recognize humans. Which wouldn't make sense if they'd eaten everyone..."

**That might be possible too. This place seems to be genre-agnostic in ALL THE WAYS, so soul sucking SCIENCE could certainly be possible.**

**Assuming This PlaceTM even follows those sorts of laws. If not, you could conceivably convert someone into MORE then their mass in cats. Conservation of energy sure doesn't seem to apply. Or maybe the energy is supplied by This PlaceTM means that the laws ARE followed, but it doesn't seem so from our end? Maybe Madamemoiselle Tuber knows more. I certainly don't.**
