((...infinite weak enemies.))

(Nope.  It scales out from spawn rooms.  Enemies always get stronger the further from your spawn room you are.)

((Class according to the OP can be the same.))

(More interesting if you don't, though.

Also, you're statement is a lie.  Wording of the OP is:
Quote
To select your class, you walk to a Dias in the center of the starting room, and a device that looks like this held on by the restraints of these attaches to your character's non-dominant arm.

After this, your character gets a recommended class based on the weapon they spawn in with, and a single ability related to that class.  Each time your character levels up (every 5 rooms), you get a selection between two abilities, a passive (always on) or an active (needs to be activated).  Please keep in mind your level when giving your character abilities.

It's a fairly freeform class system, so the definition of your class and the what abilities are related to it are pretty much up to you.
Nowhere does it say you can keep your class, as you so claim.)

Edit: (How was Shifter your recommended class when you had a Pickaxe?  Recommended is based off your weapon.)

((Hugo said the class had nothing to do with weapon, although it tends to be similar. Also I recall reading at some point in the OP it can stay the same, although my memory may be mistaken.))

((Wasn't aware of the enemy scaling, perhaps you should state all the various game mechanics rather then assuming we know them?))

((Edited due to broken autocorrect fudging words.))

(Yeah my bad. I'm a little confused on some things as well. Which is admittedly not something a GM should say. Though it's easy enough to retcon and say he picked a different one than the recommended.)

Town

Propman came across a close-by inn without too much trouble: There was a limited number of three story tall buildings in the general area that had the words "INN" hammered onto the side in big, bold letters. Propman ventured through to be met with the scent of wood, dust, and charcoal. It smelled a lot like his grandparent's house.

"Ello'! Checking in for a room for the night." The wanderer stared at a coat-rack to the side of the door. He was going to have to fetch his greatcoat sometime. A rather gangly, pointy-eared clerk with pale skin greeted him nonchalantly. "Two vials please."

Propman took out the potions and handed them over to the clerk, who proceeded to hand him a key with the number "34" marked on it.

"Enjoy your stay."

((Hugo said the class had nothing to do with weapon, although it tends to be similar. Also I recall reading at some point in the OP it can stay the same, although my memory may be mistaken.))

(He was mistaken then.  Quote the OP of the original thread:)

Class selection:
After this, your character gets a recommended class based on the weapon they spawn in with.

(You are able to select your class, though considering the amount, let's say you need to roll a 1d20, and get a 19 or 20 to find it.)

((Wasn't aware of the enemy scaling, perhaps you should state all the various game mechanics rather then assuming we know them?))

(When we were in town, it was stated that enemies get stronger the deeper in the dungeon you go.  Probably should have been updated into the OP, but I don't have control of this one.  If I did, I would have called this 'Act 2', as well.)

(It's in the OP of this thread as well. Again, my bad. But again, the one it gives you is only the recommended one. It's an easy enough retcon to say that he scrolled through to see other options.)

((Well, I'm keeping it, not going to bother retconning to another class because of unstated mechanics.))

((Again, I suggest making a full mechanic dump so this kind of thing stops happening every twenty pages.))

(Nope.  It scales out from spawn rooms.  Enemies always get stronger the further from your spawn room you are.)

(It should be noted that overworld encounters seem to scale on a combination of the player's power, dice rolls, and proximity to the town, though they mostly only give .5 xp, and as shown by my own escapades, are a rather inefficient source of experience if you're using a firearm. I've been working on a bestiary in the meantime, cataloging every monster that's tried to eat, kill, or otherwise maim our party, as well as things to come!)

**I think it might be a better idea to cut off its connection to her somehow. Its removed from her, so it obviously has some sort of wireless connection to her. Covering it in an insulator or something should temporarily remove its effects with a minimum of risk to us.**

"Indirectly, maybe. I wished for the truth, so maybe we have to find out to complete the room. Did this room even exist before I wished for it?"

"Maybe. Why don't you find out? Whatever you do, though, you should do it before you run out of time. Wouldn't you kick yourself so much if you threw away your future by delaying in the present?"

There were metallic footsteps. As they got closer, a white, a spherical-bodied robot entered the room, dragging the unconscious Future!HugoLuman. "Thank you for assuming the party escort submission position."

"Do you want to know how death really works here? Because I can guarantee there are a few things you haven't discovered yet."

((Well, I'm keeping it, not going to bother retconning to another class because of unstated mechanics.))

(Considering the length of time, it'd be a pain to fully retcon it out.)

((Again, I suggest making a full mechanic dump so this kind of thing stops happening every twenty pages.))

(Which page length?)
