Hugo jumps down, wincing a little on the landing. "Need any help up the stairs?"

[Arcvasti]

**I'll probably be fine.**

Arcvasti stumbles a couple times when going up the stairs, but catches himself and eventually ascends. He opens the door to the chess room and inserts the scepter into the keyhole. The stone door to the next room glows before turning to dust, revealing a more normal wooden door behind it. Arcvasti opens the door, taking a peek within.

**Can't see much in there. Full of steam or something.**

"Tag, you're it"

HugoLuman comes up to see. "I don't like it. I'll go in first and see what kind of feeling I get with Danger Sense." He steps through, spear at the ready.

[Zanzetkuken The Great]

Zanzetkuken had made it to the room and seen the revealing of the door.

"If I would have to guess, I would say there is something Steampunk oriented on the other side.  If enemies, that means it will likely be machines."

[SOLDIER First]

"Hopefully they're bronze. I could use more ammo.

The room is shrouded in steam, as Arcvasti said. You can hear a sharp clicking coming from inside the room. A few shapes move within the fog, jerkily.

[WillowLuman]

HugoLuman gripped his spear tightly and lowered his volume. "Sounds like it might be machines... I don't know how much good this will be against metal..."

[SOLDIER First]

SB raises Hugo's axe.
"I chop off their limbs, you stab them repeatedly?"

[WillowLuman]

"It's a bayonet on a stick. I don't know if it's going to survive this. But, who knows, maybe they're not hostile?"

[SOLDIER First]

SB shrugs.
"Try not to get your hopes up."

[McDonald]

"In case you didn't know, we're on a minefield. I would rather not play tag here."

I would rather play tag here than mud wrestle a bear though

"My class ability directs me to one-hit kill points, if I'm not seen," Zanzetkuken mentioned.
